My two favorite videos at the moment: How is YouTube driving innovation? And the beauty of data visualization

The first one is about innovation
TED’s Chris Anderson says the rise of web video is driving a worldwide phenomenon he calls Crowd Accelerated Innovation – a self-fueling cycle of learning that he thinks would be as significant as the invention of print. Chris Anderson points out three things organizations need to make it happen:
  1. A crowd – a group of people who share a common interest
  2. Lights – open visibility – to see what people are doing
  3. Desire – innovation is hard work.

The 2nd one: The beauty of data visualization
This is really a good one. David McCandless is just magical…he turns complex data sets into beautiful, simple diagrams that tease out unseen patterns and connections. David thinks that good design is the best way to navigate through information overload. He even suggest that this will change the way we see the world.
