Fantastiske Dubai :)

Her er noen bilder fra fantastiske Dubai.

Does it work? I don’t care. I love it!

We all remember Eyjafjallajökull. The ash stopped Europe – and the world was on hold for a while. Iceland’s visitor numbers have dropped drastically since this event. Now the Icelandic government tries to get the tourists back to the beautiful island. They have created an innovative “Inspired by Iceland” campaign to help the tourism industry. I don’t know if this will help – but i love this YouTube clip. It makes me happy 🙂 Thnx Iceland.

“The Inspired By Iceland”: the Icelandic government, Reykjavik city, Trade Council of Iceland, Tourist Board of Iceland and the Travel Industry Association.

Iceland is on sale – tips for tourists! DO’s and DON’Ts

Tourists have been flocking to Iceland ever since October 2008 when Iceland’s economy crashed and it’s currency came tumbling down with it. From 2007 to 2009 the krona lost roughly half it’s value against the Dollar and Euro. So things should be really cheap, but that’s not the hole story – prices of goods and services have increased – with the small exception of white bread.

McDonalds closed shop in Iceland last year because importing meat became too expensive.

So here are some tips on what to buy and what you should stay away from 🙂

What to do and where to go in Stockholm – 10 tips for Stockholm and a bonus!

Her er listen:
  1. Tranan is a local restaurant on Odenplan. Very informal, but good crowd.
  2. Riche/ Teatergrillen is the classic restaurant that never goes out of style.
  3. Restaurant Mathias Dahlgren, next to Grand hotel, is the best culinary experience in Stockholm.
  4. Lydmar hotel is the place to live, eat and party. Probably the best hotel to stay at the moment.
  5. Story hotel is the place to live and drink – don't eat there.
  6. Go to PA & Co to eat. This is an another classic where the fashion crowd goes.
  7. Go to Kåken for drinks.
  8. Rolfs kök. A classical restaurant.
  9. Pontus! Fantastic food cool interior.
  10. Franzen Lindberg the best restaurant in the old town.
And a bonus: Go to the bakery – bakeriet and THE BAR next door
